ABOUT ME

My name is Diana Kendrová, and I aa professional translator and interpreter.

I was born in 2000, in Poprad, and when I was four years

old, myparents moved to France, whereI spent most of my life. Growing up in a multicultural family, I gained not only deep linguistic knowledge but also rich cultural experiences that awakened my passion for languages. After finishing high school, I decided to return to Slovakia, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. I continued my studies at the University of Prešov, and in June 2024, I successfully completed my master’s degree in the same field.

Since 2022, I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter, and during this time I have gained extensive experience in various areas. I specialize in a wide range of texts, from contracts and manuals to novels and children’s books. I collaborate with renowned publishers, translation agencies, as well as individual and corporate clients. I also have experience interpreting at various conferences. I have worked with organizations such as the DAPHNE Institute of Applied Ecology, the Prešov Self-Governing Region, and others.

I am a proud member of prestigious translation and interpreting associations such as SAPT and Doslov, thanks to which I continually broaden my horizons and deepen my expertise in linguistics.

In my translation work, I also use professional CAT tools such as Trados and Trados Studio, which allow me to work more quickly and efficiently. These tools also ensure a high standard of quality and consistency in translated texts. My dedication to quality and my pursuit of excellence are the driving forces behind my success as a translator and interpreter.

I believe that my professional expertise and passion for languages can provide you with precise and culturally sensitive translations. I look forward to working with you and helping you overcome language barriers.
